Avion Express recognized among the best companies internationally

Airline of the Year 2019 Bronze AwardAvion Express, the largest narrow-body ACMI operator in the world, received the Airline of the Year 2019 Bronze Award from the European Regions Airline Association (ERA). The achievement was announced during the General Assembly, followed by ERA’s annual awards ceremony, on October 9th, 2019 in Juan-les-Pins, France.

The company received the prestigious award based on numerous criteria such as the development strategy, financial results, benefit to clients and customers, as well as its accomplishments throughout the year. Avion Express professional and flexible approach to its clients’ needs, its global reach, dynamic and rapidly growing business allowed the company to firmly establish itself and be recognized by the global aviation market.

Congratulating all the winners, ERA Director General, Montserrat Barriga, said: “The ERA Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the association’s members, specifically those who have gone above and beyond and accomplished great things over the past year.”

Additionally, Avion Express became a National Winner for Lithuania in The Award for Growth Strategy of the Year category, at European Business Awards, one of the world’s largest business competitions. This recognition is based, among other criteria, on international expansion and growth, leadership skills, customer focus, professional and engaged team. Avion Express was selected as a National Winner by a panel of independent judges including business leaders, politicians and academics.

Earlier in 2019, Avion Express was awarded ACMI Operator of the Year 2019 at Air Transport Awards by International Business News. The company also reached the 22nd position among Lithuanian Business Leaders Top 500, and the 76th position in TOP 1000 of the largest companies in Lithuania, according to Verslo Žinios, the leading business newspaper in Lithuania.
